Some may feel that life is already set out before them, that they have a preset path through life giving them little choice or influence, we do not exactly agree with this, but feel it is more that map is set out before you with some choices open to you now and more choices available should you search for them.
We all find that opportunities come our way, perhaps the ideal partner, the ideal home comes available at just the right time, you discover just the book at the point you need the knowledge, a documentary appears on TV the day you were going to look something up, or a person out of nowhere comes across you and makes contact with you, or seeks your help, destined to benefit from the experience.
We call it living in confidence when you know that whatever happens a solution will come long at just the right moment. That you will meet the right people at the right time, that nature will take its own course, in so many things from the self preservation of the planet to providing you with an ideal and rewarding life. Clearly you have to be aware of this and to look when the need arises, and sometimes to hold back and look further for it to appear, but then to grab the opportunity presented before it passes.
We do not believe that all these opportunities open up for us exactly when needed by chance and clearly those who are in contact with the spirit tend to be 'luckier' in life. So living in confidence is about being aware of the spirit, and having the confidence to take whatever path you choose knowing that the spirit will provide exactly the ideal opportunities for you at the right time.
So how far can we take this, often it would appear as far as our belief allows. I personally for example would never step off a high cliff expecting a miracle to save me, or jump into the ocean with confidence that a friendly dolphin would be on hand to ferry me to safety. I would however happily take a cheap flight somewhere without having a room reserved at the destination and know that any mishap often leads to something very positive as long as I look out for it. I know that as far as housing, finances, and opportunities go more opportunities will become available to me than I could possibly take.
Much of our magic is based around craft skills and being able to use this to help ourselves and others as well as draw upon the many other skills of other members of the coven as well as support from them in other ways also allows up to have an ideal life.
We believe therefore that you do have a choice as to your future, however it may not be a completely open choice, but based on preset criteria. We also believe that parts of our existence is in other levels of consciousness that we may not all be able to see or at least not see all the time and that what goes on in these levels of consciousness, also effects us here.
We do not see these levels of conciseness as alternate dimensions, but extensions of this one, and we see this in a form of spiral shape, with time running like a ribbon scrunched up so that from various levels of consciousness we can get different views of different times.
By the use of magic, we can move to different levels of consciousness and cause changes to occur that will change to choices open to us and the opportunities that come along. we still however have to take those opportunities when they appear in order to benefit.
While up to this point, we have been able to illustrate much of what we say, at this point we have reached, what you may call the chicken and egg problem, it is necessary to believe in order to experience and without experiencing some people will be unable to believe.
Perhaps this is similar to much that you will remember at school of the teachings of miracles or magic of the new testament when people were first asked if they believed, suggesting that the magic only worked for believers. Likewise with Voodoo clearly believers will claim it as a fact that they have experienced while non believers will discount it as imagination or something similar.
Remember as we have said many times before ours is a pick and mix belief system, accept what you like, and do not get held up on that which is beyond you at this time, later it may make sense to you.
